S14 Sun Roof Moulding サンルーフモール

This is an S14 sunroof trim. The S14 features a fiberglass frame between the glass and the rubber trim, but the adhesive deteriorates over time and causes the trim to peel away. The frame can become damaged by wind resistance or the opening and closing of the sunroof, and in the worst-case scenario, the entire rubber trim could fly off while driving. This product was developed through reverse engineering by an American company.

Material: Made from ASA material. Pre-painted with a textured finish.

S14サンルーフモールです。S14はガラスとゴムモールの間にFRP製の枠が付いているのですが、接着剤が経年劣化し剥がれてしまいます。走行風やサンルーフの開閉で枠が破損してしまい、最悪の場合走行中にゴムモールごと飛んでいってしまいます。こちらの製品をアメリカの企業がリバースエンジニアリング開発で作り上げました。
